  • Co-Founder

    Sam Hastings, co-founder of Tutor Recruiter, brings over 18 years of experience in teaching English Literature, Language, and Business Studies across private and public schools. Her leadership roles, such as Head of Year, Head of English and Designated Safeguarding Lead, reflect her deep understanding of both academic and personal student development. Sam’s structured yet approachable teaching style helps students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys beach walks, spending time with loved ones, and diving into a good thriller.

  • Co-Founder

    Harry Hastings, co-founder of Tutor Recruiter, has 8 years of tutoring experience in Business Studies and Economics. Known for his engaging and fun approach, Harry builds strong connections with students, creating a supportive learning environment. His logical and empathetic nature ensures he understands both student and parent needs, making learning enjoyable and effective. Outside of tutoring, Harry enjoys travelling, playing football, and exploring new restaurants with friends.

11+ Preparation

We provide specialist tuition across English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning to help students excel in their 11+ exams. We build confidence and foundational skills for success in selective school entrance.

GCSE & A-Level

Our expert tutors offer targeted support across all subjects to help students achieve their full potential in crucial GCSE and A-Level examinations, focusing on exam technique and deep understanding.

International Qualifications

We support international students pursuing various qualifications, including English language proficiency exams like IELTS, and those studying the British curriculum abroad.

SEN Support

Our specialist tutors provide tailored and empathetic support for students with Special Educational Needs. Our tutors have adaptive adapting teaching methods according to individual learning styles, fostering academic progress and confidence.

At Tutor Recruiter, we proudly support both UK-based and International students studying across all major UK exam boards, including AQA, OCR, and Edexcel. We provide comprehensive tuition for a wide range of subjects.

While 95% of our lessons are conducted online, offering unparalleled flexibility and accessibility, we also provide in-person tuition in London and the South East of England for the remaining 5%.

Our expertise extends to international students looking to enhance their English language skills and achieve qualifications like IELTS, as well as those studying the British curriculum in overseas schools.
